Selfie sticks have swept through japan like a typhoon, with the eye of the storm firmly resting on Kyoto. Now on any given day the cobbled streets play host to herds of selfie-obsessed teens, dressed in traditional Japanese kimonos and perfecting their pose, pout and peace sign.
