Graffiti

Shibuya is one of Tokyo’s busiest centres, famous for its cluttered crossing and multilevel malls. But a hundred metres from from this shoppers’ paradise, alongside the railway, is a thriving scene of street art. Tags, stencils, stickers and even two ceramics can be found plastered on every inch of this street, with not even Japan’s beloved vending machines being spared. This open air gallery is also accompanied by a variety of tiny independent shops and miniature eateries. A world away from the larger than life metropolis.
